Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg unit requiring a Montana or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Details
- Med/Surg unit setting in a hospital environment
- 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, scheduled as 1 day shift and 2 night shifts
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license (MT state or compact) required, no pending license accepted
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- BLS certification through American Heart Association required and must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for unit or service
- At least 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
