Description
American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN with 2 years of ED experience and TNCC certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Emergency Department unit with 19 beds
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
- Uses Philips equipment and Meditech EMR
- Rotating weekend requirement with no on-call duties
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Experience with procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care across a range of acute and trauma presentations
- Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
