Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical ICU unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Auto offer of 36 or 48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association required
- PALS certification from American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU specialty experience required, with experience within the last 3 months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- EPIC and Cerner experience must be documented in employment history
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect patient data, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction; local rates match travel rates
- Traveler can only be placed at one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
