Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a float outpatient imaging position requiring 5+ years of general, vascular, and breast sonography experience.

Details

Float position covering multiple outpatient imaging sites including Garden City, Great Neck, Glen Cove, New Hyde Park, Syosset, Huntington, Smithtown, Islip, and Bayshore
Performs general, vascular, breast, body vascular, and MSK ultrasound scans
Primarily adult patients with some pediatric cases for general scans
Varied 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM

Requirements

ARDMS certification in AB or OB/GYN required
RVT strongly preferred; BR certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in general, vascular, and breast ultrasound required
License required if applicable
Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must successfully complete a first-day scanning assessment to confirm technique, expertise, and image quality before continuing the assignment
Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
