Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with prior travel experience and TN or compact RN licensure for a 13-week contract.
Details
- 21-bed ICU unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population ages 18+, including ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock cases
- Patient ratios of 1-2
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- No block scheduling; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating to Stepdown or ER as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Unit creates the schedule
Requirements
- Active TN RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Additional Information
- Orientation dates available: 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, and 12/14
- Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
- No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Navy scrubs required
- Local candidates accepted
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
