Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience for a STEMI-accepting facility.
Details
- 13-week assignment in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call requirement with 24-hour STEMI coverage
- Monthly call days ranging from 10-15, including 2 weekends
- Supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- RCIS or ARRT certification required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience in a US hospital setting required
- Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent years of experience required
- Proficiency in scrub and monitoring duties utilizing catheterization equipment
- Experience operating radiology imaging equipment per prescribed procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Additional Information
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
- First-time travelers may be considered
