Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a combined ER/Med Surg role in a Critical Access Hospital setting, requiring MN RN licensure and 2 years of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Combined ER and Med Surg unit within a Critical Access Hospital
• 14-bed unit
• 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), with potential day shifts (0700-1930) depending on staffing needs
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Floating required between Med Surg and ER departments
• Potential for on-call coverage and working alone depending on staffing
• Uses EPIC charting system and Omnicell automated medication dispensing

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• TNCC or CALS certification required for ED
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required
• ER training required with ability to work both Med Surg and ER
• Critical Access Hospital experience required
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and float to other units

Additional Information

• Responsible for implementing the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at an adjusted pay rate
• Candidates with prior Sanford Health employment must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
