Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active MA RN license and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Provides full scope of perinatal care including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum labor and birth care, intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries, and postpartum care
• Cares for maternal/newborn couplet dyads for well babies and special care for premature or higher-acuity newborns
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 36 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• 3-5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Comfort working in the OR preferred
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine plus booster required, with medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation provided
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months (perm, per diem, or contract) to be considered
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and local candidates are not accepted
• Collaborates with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for perinatal care services
