Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a day-shift role requiring 5+ years of X-Ray experience and active NYS license with ARRT (R) certification.
Details
- Radiology department in a 410-bed community hospital
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts (8am-4pm)
- Weekend coverage required every 4th weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience required
- Active NYS license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience strongly preferred
- Previous or current travel experience strongly preferred
- Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- Valid driver's license required
Additional Information
- COVID vaccination strongly encouraged
- Completion of Verbal De-escalation training (Welle or CPI) required for all new and returning staff as of 1/1/2024
- Requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility or residing in specific nearby NY counties may be considered for the assignment
