Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 3+ years acute care experience for a night shift position at a critical access hospital.

Details

• Critical access general medical and surgical hospital setting with 25 beds
• Respiratory Therapy unit supporting ED and inpatient care, with transport to tertiary care center as needed
• Typical therapist to patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
• 36 hours per week on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years current acute care experience required
• High degree of proficiency working with ventilators
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP required
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• Active NBRC or CRT certification
• NH RCP licensure required if applicable; temporary licensure accepted with willingness to apply at time of offer
• Signed supervisory reference from the past year of employment required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services across ED, inpatient, and transport settings
• Dress code requires scrubs of any color, no denim, closed-toe shoes, and no perfume or cologne
• Previous travel experience highly preferred but first-time travelers may be considered
• RTO requests limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted prior to offer
