Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a 13-week acute care travel assignment.

Details

• Works in the CT/X-ray department on a trauma level 3 unit with 120 beds
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Common diagnoses include PE, GI bleed, CVA, and trauma
• Uses GE Revolution Maxima 128-slice CT scanner, GE X-ray, and GE portable equipment
• Charting performed in Cerner with Optum PACS imaging system
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• No call or float requirements

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification and AZDHS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-ray experience required
• Associate degree from an accredited school of Radiology required
• Computer experience required
• License required if applicable

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures supporting trauma, cardiovascular, and GI cases
• Team-oriented environment seeking hardworking, detail-oriented, and organized candidates
• Scrubs may be any color
• Acrylic nails, baseball hats, and t-shirts (except Fridays) are not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
