Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment who will perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with ARRT MR certification required.

Details

• Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma work settings
• Average daily census of 125 with 40 visits per day
• 4x10 hour day shifts with variable days on a rotating two-week schedule, including shifts from 10:30 to 23:00
• Weekend coverage required every other Saturday
• Siemens MRI equipment used
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• ARRT MR certification required, ARRT R preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
• MA state license required if applicable
• Skilled in imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Experience with MRA, MRV, MRCP, and other advanced imaging procedures preferred
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Experience with MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff preferred

Additional Information

• Perform a broad range of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, neurological, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols as part of daily patient care
• First-time travelers with required experience will be considered
• Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
