Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an AL or compact RN license and 2+ years of med-surg experience.

Details

Work on a 3400 Med-Surg unit with 18 beds
Adult and geriatric patient population
Patient ratio of 1:6
Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Rotating weekends with every other weekend required
No call requirements
Float requirements apply
Uses Meditech EHR

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of med-surg nursing experience required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
Copies of required certifications must be provided

Additional Information

Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the position
Royal blue scrub color required
Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
Weekly Monday orientations scheduled
