Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 3 years of cath lab experience and expertise in high-risk coronary and STEMI interventions.
Details
- Acute care setting in a cardiac cath lab with 6 suites/labs
- Average of 18 cases per day
- Patient population includes coronary and neuro cases, including high-risk coronary cases
- Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
- Uses Epic and McKesson systems
- 5 shifts of 8-hour days per week, start times of 0700 or 0830 as assigned
- Call required with a 30-minute response time, including 24/7 cardiologist coverage
- 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) of call required during the 13-week assignment
- May float to EP/IR units
- Supervisor/charge coverage available 0600-1630 Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of cath lab experience required
- Must be able to scrub and circulate STEMI cases
- Experience with high-risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing required
- Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring for neuro interventional call required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
- ARRT certification required, including Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required

- Negative drug screen required for all panels as part of OSF's Drug-Free Campus policy
- Local candidates welcome; local rate available for clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
