Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, open to new graduates with ortho/neuro experience.
Details
- Outpatient setting focused on orthopedic and neurologic conditions
- Patient ratio of 1:1 therapy sessions
- Primarily working at Swain facility, with floating to Harris Regional required
- Schedule is day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend coverage every other weekend
- No call requirements
- Uses Redoc EHR for outpatient documentation
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience preferred; new graduates accepted
- Ortho/neuro clinical experience required
- License required if applicable
- AHA certifications required
- Active license verifiable through Nursys at time of consideration
Additional Information
- 86-bed acute care hospital offering orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine service lines
- Facility provides sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging, and laboratory services
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
- Open to first-time travelers
