Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS certification and on-call availability.

Details

PACU unit within a hospital setting
13-week assignment with a 09:00-21:30 shift schedule
Requires 4 weeknight call shifts per month
Requires 1 weekend of day call monthly and 1 weekend of night shift call every 6 weeks
Requires 1 evening and day-after-holiday shift plus 1 holiday call shift

Requirements

Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start, with Nursys verification for RNs

Additional Information

Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in the PACU
Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations, with exceptions of 90 miles for MercyOne (IA) and Genesis (IA & IL), 50 miles for St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center (NY), and 75 miles for St. Peter's Health Partners (NY)
Local candidates accepted in select states (CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, PA), excluding MercyOne (IA), Genesis (IA & IL), St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center (NY), and St. Peter's Health Partners (NY)
