Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact license and Level 4 trauma center experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room (ER) of an acute care hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, with every other weekend required
• 12-hour shifts for a 13-week assignment
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (pending certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a Level 4 trauma center setting
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year; PRN employment through outside staffing firms is acceptable
