Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Specialty Surgical Unit position requiring at least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience and multiple pediatric-focused certifications.

Details

• Pediatric Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• ADN or BSN required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• CPEN certification preferred
• 1+ years of recent experience in pediatric nursing required
• Must read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and office equipment proficiency required

Additional Information

• Maintain a safe patient environment according to AWOHHN, ACOG, and AAP guidelines
• Assist with annual unit duties and precept new team members
• Coordinate daily staffing duties and provide call coverage as needed
• Maintain professional relationships across the healthcare team through effective communication and collaborative problem-solving
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, to be made up during the assignment
