Description

American Traveler is hiring a Step Down RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Step Down experience and strong cardiac proficiency.

Details

Step Down unit with 36 private treatment rooms
Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
Floating required

Requirements

Active MI RN license required at time of submission
Compact license not accepted
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience required
Strong cardiac experience and proficiency required
Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice following hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards of care
Supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists offering advanced nursing expertise
Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs
Ongoing staff development through programs in wound care and pain management
Navy blue scrub dress code
Candidates within a 35 mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with reduced travel rate
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
