Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of OB, breast, vascular, and abdomen imaging experience.

Details

• General ultrasound unit within a radiology/cardiology department
• Varied day shifts (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM) with rotating weekends
• Call rotation and holiday rotation required
• Floating required
• Patient population includes adult, pediatric, and obstetric patients across ED, ICU, OB, and portable settings
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS imaging system
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in OB, breast, vascular, and abdomen imaging
• ARDMS and BLS certification required
• ARDMS AB, BR, OB/GYN, and RVT certifications preferred
• Pending certification candidates will be considered
• License required if applicable
• Skills in OB/GYN imaging including fetal anatomical survey, amniotic fluid index, and multiple pregnancy studies
• Vascular imaging skills including carotid, dialysis graft, and arterial/venous duplex studies
• Experience with small parts imaging such as thyroid, breast, and testicular ultrasound
• Experience with procedures such as cyst aspiration, paracentesis, and thoracentesis preferred
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• Perform general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts ultrasound studies across multiple patient care settings
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrubs required per facility dress code
