Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit requiring a Nebraska or Compact RN license and 1 year of experience.

Details

Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a community hospital
Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00)
Rotating weekend requirement every 3rd weekend

Requirements

Active RN license in the State of Nebraska or Compact license required
Minimum 1 year of full-time RN experience required
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited College of Nursing
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
TNCC certification required within first two years of employment
PALS and NRP certifications
NIHSS stroke scale certification
Valid driver's license required
Rural healthcare experience preferred
Electronic Health Records experience preferred, with Tru/Bridge/Evident charting system experience a plus

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a rural community hospital setting
Must reside within a 30-mile radius or be willing to accept local candidate status
