Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT and diagnostic X-ray experience for a night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Adult acute care hospital setting including Emergency Department, ICU, and Level II Trauma Center
• CT scanning of abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest regions
• Performs cardiac CT (calcium scoring, coronary angiography) and vascular chest studies (PE, CTA, aorta)
• Uses PACS and Philips equipment
• Night shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Sunday to Wednesday, 20:30-7:00
• No call requirements
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and diagnostic X-ray required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required, ARRT (CT) preferred
• TMB license required if applicable
• Experience administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs preferred
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic imaging across trauma, ED, and ICU patient populations
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius as local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered though previous travel experience is strongly preferred
