Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring step-down/ICU experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Progressive Care unit on the 4th floor, cardiac specialty
• Cares for cardiac observation and post cardiac cath lab patients, cardioversions, adult population
• 22-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Uses telemetry equipment and Paragon EHR
• 12-hour PM shifts (7A-7P)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimally required
• Step-down or ICU experience required

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac care including monitoring, cardioversions, and post cath lab recovery
• Team-oriented environment requiring strong communication skills and flexibility
• Navy scrubs required; offensive tattoos and non-facility tops not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
