Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine with 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience for a night shift assignment.

Details

Works in a Maternal Fetal Medicine / Center for Advanced Perinatal Care setting
High-risk OB and adult patient population
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Epic charting system preferred
Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN sonography required
ARDMS certification required; ARDMS FE and ARDMS OB/GYN preferred
BLS certification required; NT certification preferred
Skilled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasound exams
Experience with amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, and umbilical cord Doppler
Proficient in fetal measurements including abdominal circumference, bone lengths, and head/heart assessments
Experience with multiple pregnancy and placenta previa cases preferred
Familiarity with amniocentesis, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred
Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration, if applicable
Valid professional references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for high-risk obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine patients
Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists on complex pregnancy cases
Must complete pass/fail clinical exam with up to 3 attempts allowed for clearance
PA fingerprinting required within 1 week of contract signing, which may involve travel
Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered local and offered a different pay rate
First-time travelers are accepted for this role
