Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift telemetry and observation unit requiring an active AZ or compact license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry patient population
• Med-Surg/Observation nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Step Down ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7am with set schedules
• Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Option to take call during periods of low census alongside full-time staff
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Step Down experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry units
• Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
