Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Med/Surg Tele for a float pool position requiring strong telemetry experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Float pool position within a hospital setting, floating between Med/Surg Tele units, PCU, ICU, and ED to care for medsurg boarders
- 12-hour night shift schedule, working every other weekend
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
- Strong telemetry experience required due to multi-unit floating responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
Additional Information
- Care for medsurg boarder patients across multiple units including PCU, ICU, and ED
- Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and local candidates are not accepted
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
