Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and wound care experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a 45-bed hospital
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Night shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, 6 on/8 off rotation with possible 48-hour weeks
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required
- Uses MEDHOST EMR
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry with wound care required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Dark navy blue scrubs required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Blackout dates for RTO are December 24-25
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
