Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel position at an acute care hospital, requiring an associate's degree and RRT credential.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 154 beds offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health
• All patient populations served including geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• 3x12 night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required throughout the hospital
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• RRT credential required
• Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited with a Chest Pain Center designation
• Position is a replacement role covering shifts for a transferring staff member
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly with multiple upcoming start dates available

• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local rate available for closer candidates
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
