Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a busy community hospital setting, requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Details

Busy community hospital with two primary CT scanners, averaging 40-60+ scans per day
Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient volume
3x12 hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Uses PACS and Siemens equipment

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
NJ License (NJDEP Radiologic Technologist) required if applicable
Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging, colorectal studies, and intravenous pyelogram
Skilled in head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
Proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
All requested RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
