Description

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown Neuro RN for a day shift position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown Neuro unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All requested RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to consideration
• Background check findings are reviewed, but open cases or any professional license hits are not accepted
