Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week assignment requiring RVT certification and at least 1 year of experience in vascular ultrasound procedures.
Details
- Vascular lab setting performing carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular ultrasound studies
- Uses Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and detect vascular abnormalities
- 4x9 hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, from 07:00 to 16:30
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in vascular sonography required
- RVT certification through ARDMS required
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Perform and oversee vascular ultrasound procedures to assess blood flow and detect vascular abnormalities
- Prepare and position patients for vascular ultrasound examinations
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of vascular ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate results
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, subject to a reduced rate
