Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of relevant experience and active MN licensure.

Details

• Medical Surgical Care Center unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Uses Epic EMR
• Varied shifts including evenings and nights (1500-2330 and 2300-0730)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (compact license not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations required
• Ability to insert IVs required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to specialty required
• 2 supervisory references with employment dates required

Additional Information

• Provide holistic nursing care across the lifecycle including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care among disciplines and delegate activities to other care providers as appropriate
• Dark blue scrubs required
• Candidates residing within a 35 mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior work history at this health system must list it on their resume
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not be honored if requested later
