Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular ICU RN requiring CRRT and/or IABP experience for a night shift position in Kentucky.

Details

• 20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
• Cares for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, and surgical needs
• Performs continuous dialysis and invasive bedside procedures
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 7p-7a
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must have CRRT and/or IABP experience
• Strong computer and EMR aptitude with ability to be trained

Additional Information

• Provide holistic, patient and family-centered nursing care using the full nursing process
• Perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge processes including patient education
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
