Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 5 years of high-risk L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- OB/GYN unit with 12 postpartum rooms, 4 swing/antepartum rooms, 5 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Patient ratios: 1:3 on Labor and Delivery, 1:3 antepartum, 1:6 mother/baby couplet
- Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
- May float within 30 miles of assigned facility as needed
- Included in mandatory overtime rotation pool as needed for unit coverage
Requirements
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 5 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior OB experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum settings
- Unit provides scrubs
- Accepts local candidates within 75 miles at local rate
- Radius rate applies for eligible candidates outside local radius
