Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring intra-aortic balloon pump experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- 21-bed CVICU unit with 1-2 patient ratios
- Patient population: adults 18+ with ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock
- 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend work required
- Float to Stepdown/ER as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Unit creates the schedule
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required at time of consideration
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Intra-aortic balloon pump experience required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 holidays
- Navy scrubs required
- No time off approved between 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Local candidates accepted, though at a lower rate outside a 75-mile radius
