Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Float pool ICU unit within an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, working 36s or 48s
• EPIC EMR experience required
• One holiday off approved, with requirement to work the other designated holiday

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) or ALS (ARC) certification required
• PALS (AHA or ARC) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU specialty experience required, with experience within the last 3 months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
• EPIC and/or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients per established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
• Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to deliver safe, humane care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education on health information
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates, with no radius restriction
• Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical or religious exemptions considered
