Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Surgical unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

13-week assignment in a 143-bed acute care hospital setting
Medical Surgical Combination unit with 18 beds
Patient ratio of 1:6
All patient population ages
Shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
No call requirements
Float to any med/surg area within scope
Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

Active RN license (NC or Compact)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Skilled in IV and NG tube insertion
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Additional Information

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel pay rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
All required certifications must be obtained prior to start
