Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-day assignment requiring ARRT/CT and BLS certification.
Details
- Clinic setting performing CT scans for diagnostic purposes
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Cares for patients across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Requirements
- ARRT/CT license required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT R certification preferred
- Current BLS via AHA required
- Fit test required
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans with and without contrast within established guidelines
- Maintain high standards of patient care during CT scans and assist with patient discharge
- Order and maintain stock of imaging supplies
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety measures, psychosocial and physical growth/development concepts, medication administration, and pain management appropriate to patient age
- Accepts local candidates within a 60 mile radius
- RTO requests limited to a maximum of 7 days
- Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
- Candidates with a pending license may be considered
