Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring CA RN licensure, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS certification.

• Medical ICU unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36's or 48's options
• EPIC experience required
• Willing to approve one holiday off but must work the other assigned holiday

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required from AH-approved vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum three years of ICU experience required
• EPIC experience required and must be noted in employment history

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and caring environment
• Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, local rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior license action will not be considered
