Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a 144-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 or 48 hours per week
• EPIC EMR experience required
• One holiday off may be approved but the other assigned holiday must be worked

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to develop and implement care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote a safe, healing environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment
