Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Float Pool night shift position requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, and OR
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the submitted specialty required
• No prior license actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• One holiday off approved, with the traveler required to work the other assigned holiday
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel positions
• All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
