Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist for a Days shift role requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient setting
- General and OB imaging experience required
- Perform all CT exams and x-ray procedures
- Days shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating call required
- 5x8 schedules preferred, 4x10 schedules may be accommodated
- No floating required
- EMR used: Cerner Change Healthcare PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- NM state license required if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
- Experience with biopsy/drainage procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
- Knowledge of CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedures
Additional Information
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
- Maximum RTO of 1 week per request
- Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Returning travelers not considered if they worked as perm staff at the facility within the past 2 years
