Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a brand-new freestanding ER, requiring ARRT(R) certification, prior travel experience, and documented pediatric experience.

Details

Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art freestanding ER setting
Day shift schedule, 3x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Float required between two campuses located 30-40 minutes apart with advance notice
Every other weekend/every other holiday (EOW/EOH) requirement
Uses Epic for charting and PACS for imaging
May work alone at one campus depending on shift, requiring a full 12-hour shift without a 30-minute break

Requirements

ARRT(R) certification and MA Radiology License required if applicable
BLS certification required
Prior travel assignment experience required
Documented pediatric imaging experience in a complex medical center required
Epic charting experience required
Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
Must be able to perform upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
Experience with mobile/surgical and C-arm procedures required
Must provide 2 references, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

Must be a well-rounded technologist comfortable imaging both adult and pediatric patients
Must remain onsite for the full shift even during downtime when working alone
Pass/fail EKG test required for consideration
Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility
Facility location change updates will be reflected in the posting if applicable
