Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery position requiring NY licensure, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP certification.

Details

• High-risk labor and delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 23:00-11:30 on a 12.5-hour shift pattern
• Alternating shifts based on unit needs, including 7:00 PM-7:30 AM three 12-hour shifts
• May require some weekend shifts based on unit needs
• Uses Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• NCC C-EFM certification required within one year of first assignment with Northwell
• 3+ years of current labor and delivery experience required
• 2+ years of high-risk OB experience required, or OR circulating, c-sections, and PACU/recovery room experience
• OB triage experience preferred
• Two professional references from a manager or above required, reflecting standard or above-average performance from the prior year in current discipline/specialty

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care in a high-risk labor and delivery environment
• Candidates residing within 60 miles are considered local and eligible at a reduced rate
• Returning travelers with prior Northwell or Nuvance Health experience will undergo an eligibility review process before being considered
