Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a community hospital setting, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and MO or compact state licensure.
Details
- Community hospital outpatient, inpatient, and ER/Trauma MRI unit with 2 rooms
- Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Daily caseload of 22 patients per tech
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
- On-call required every 5th weekend, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required
- IEMA certification required
- MO state license or compact license required (license required if applicable; IL license must be in hand at time of submission)
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration preferred
- MRI procedure experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging preferred
- Experience with image post-processing, T1-weighted, and T2-weighted imaging preferred
- Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted for this role
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
- RTO limited to no more than 7 days per contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
- Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any affiliated facility as a traveler
- Standard travelers may stay for an 18-month period before requiring a 3-month break in service
- Black scrubs required
- No cost for parking
