Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with prior travel experience and pediatric care knowledge for a night shift position treating patients across tele adult, ED, and pediatric floors.
Details
- Work across tele adult floors, Emergency Department, and potentially pediatric floors
- Busy ED treats critical patients ranging from birth to geriatric age
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- RRT certification required
- CA state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Knowledge and experience treating pediatric patients required
- Epic charting system experience required
Additional Information
- Perform respiratory therapy duties including ventilator management, airway management, and arterial blood gas interpretation
- Provide care for patients with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, pneumonia, and fresh tracheostomy
- Experience with bronchoscopy, cystic fibrosis, and ECMO preferred
- Experience with pediatric critical care preferred
- Accepts local candidates at local rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Returning staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract
