Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a Days contract requiring 2+ years of MRI experience along with active ARRT and BLS certification.
Details
- Nonprofit 378-bed tertiary teaching hospital setting within the Radiology department
- Utilizes Siemens Magnetom Espree equipment
- 3x12 hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with shift times of 7:30 AM-8:00 PM or 8:00 AM-8:30 PM
- Call required one day per week (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 PM-7:30 AM)
- Call required every third weekend, including Friday and Saturday 8:30 PM-7:30 AM, Sunday 7:30 AM-7:30 AM, and Monday morning for 24 hours
- Compact license not accepted for this position
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a wide variety of MRI examinations under the direction of the Radiology Manager, exercising professional judgment while providing patient care
- Scrubs of any color required with appropriate shoes; no logos from other medical establishments permitted
- Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
