Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute position requiring CA RN licensure and ACLS certification for day shift coverage.

Details

• Acute Med/Surg unit setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience required within the last 3 months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Cerner or Epic experience must be documented in employment history if applicable
• No prior license actions or hits will be considered

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education on health information
• No radius rule applies and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
