Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of three years of OR specialty experience.

Details

• Surgery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an AHA-approved vendor required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of three years of recent experience in the OR specialty required
• Experience within the last three months in the submitted specialty required
• Cerner or Epic experience must be documented if applicable

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinating care delivery to promote health and safety
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provides learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and team members
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
