Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a rotating day/night position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
- Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
- Rotating 4x12-hour day/night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am / 7:00am-7:30pm)
- Shifts may vary based on hospital operational needs
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit with potential float assignments
- Required to work every other holiday
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with passing scores required
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
- Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases or any professional license hits will not be accepted
